Good Company Among Poisonous Plants

Life lesson: Beware of poisonous plants and poisonous people.

This morning I woke up without the dog pawing at my head. It was 3 AM. The dream woke me up this morning. It wasn’t a bad dream. It was about dogs. I couldn’t remember much of it, but it was a happy dream.
I was awake for a little while and during that time I remembered the dream from a few days ago, the terrifying dream, the dream that plunged me into despair and tears. This morning I remembered that dream. It was a video replay. What it didn’t have was any emotion attached to it.
I still haven't any idea of the message included in that dream.
But what a pleasant way to start the day today; a happy dream.
My friend had invited me for dinner so I dropped off a bouquet prior. The bouquet was red and white flowers. It was just from the grocery store, but it looked like a nice spring arrangement with tulips.
The dinner was pleasant with friends of my age. We talked about old times, how things were when we were growing up. How things have changed. We didn’t talk about how we didn’t fit into the modern world. We didn’t talk about some of the negative people with which we have been in contact.
We were embraced in a comfortable cocoon.
The flowers were in a nice holiday arrangement. The red tulips turned out to be roses. We all had a laugh about the transformation.
My hostesses' kitties love the arrangement and want to eat it. What a turn of events. What a turn of luck. Tulips are poisonous to cats and dogs. Roses are safe.
Of course, we searched our collective memories and produced the forbidden list for pets, which includes lilies, marijuana, cyclamen, bird of paradise, tulips, oleander, sago palm, azaleas, castor bean, amaryllis, crocus, chrysanthemum, English ivy and Schefflera.
My hostess has a wrist watch that has access to Google, so she added to the list. The tulips would have been safe, as she found that it is the bulb that is poisonous. That was OK. The roses were beautiful and very safe.
We all ended up having a pleasant evening. If they were all like this, re-entering the world would be more anticipated.
Let me know if you have had any success in re-entering the world. I care.
Sincerely,
Lynn Brooke
